Alkagesta says it has completed its first marine fuel delivery directly from trucks to a vessel in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil. According to the company’s announcement, two trucks carried out the operation on 2 October 2026. The delivery adds truck-to-vessel supply to its distribution capabilities in the country.

The company presented the operation as part of its expansion in Romanian and Black Sea energy markets. It said Romania had become increasingly important to its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The announcement also outlined activity across other fuel markets, placing the Constanța delivery alongside developments in European aviation supply, crude oil trading and Asian marine fuels.

Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta said, it obtained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began supplying Jet A1 to the European aviation market. The company described the sector as facing acute supply pressure, with greater military use of the pipeline making civilian fuel distribution more complex. It also reported completing its first crude oil transactions during the period, including an end-to-end delivery of about 1.07 million barrels to the Far East.

In biofuels, Alkagesta reported securing a multi-year storage agreement at Pantank in Antwerp, together with a five-year agreement to take supplies of used cooking oil feedstock. The company linked those arrangements to its position in the European biofuels supply chain, alongside the petroleum products activity described in its announcement.

Alkagesta also said its Singapore hub reached monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes in its first full year of operation. Separately, it described its fertiliser desk as operating amid substantial supply-chain disruption and pressures on food security in global agricultural markets. These activities formed the wider commercial backdrop set out by the company for its first Romanian truck-to-vessel delivery.
