The International Trade and Forfaiting Association has welcomed Mitigram and NOBO as members, highlighting their digital offerings in an October 2026 update from chairman Sean Edwards. According to ITFA, both businesses provide solutions intended to improve efficiency, connectivity and access to trade finance. The membership announcement forms part of a wider account of the association’s educational and networking activities.

In his message, Edwards placed emphasis on innovation, learning and the development of younger professionals. He pointed to digital trade finance advances, different approaches to education and the work of ITFA’s Emerging Leaders as areas of activity. His assessment was that preparing the industry for change requires investment in people as well as the technology they will use.

Regional committees and Emerging Leaders organised educational and networking events during October, with Madrid, Helsinki and New York among the locations mentioned. Edwards described those activities as opportunities for members to exchange experience and build professional relationships, following the association’s annual conference in Split earlier in the year.

An educational webinar run by the African Regional Committee received more than 140 registrations, ITFA reported. Edwards presented that response as evidence of interest in practical knowledge about trade finance challenges and opportunities. The figure refers to registrations rather than confirmed attendance; the message did not detail the webinar’s subject matter.

ITFA also invited institutions to sponsor its educational webinars, quoting a price of €400 per session. The association said sponsorship would help it expand the subjects and expertise available to members through the programme. Interested institutions were directed to its secretariat for further information.

Looking beyond October, Edwards said additional member activities were planned for November, alongside Christmas gatherings in London and Zurich. The update also directed members to conference coverage from Split and news of initiatives across the association, while pointing to its events page and LinkedIn channel for forthcoming announcements.
